| The Education Officer visits schools and inspect. He guides the Head Master and Teachers; He gives instructions to retention the attendance. |

| The teachers are appointed with respect to the no. of students by adjustment medium-wise and school-wise. The salaries, Leave, annual increment of teachers are sanctioned by Education Officer the claims i.e. G.P.F., loan, medical reimbursement etc. of teaching and non-teaching staff of Education Department is sanctioned by Education Officer. |

| 1. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Student Uniform Scheme - In this scheme all students of Municipal |
| Corporation Schools are provided free uniform every year. For the year 2000 - 2001 budget of Rs |
| 34 Lacks for this Scheme. |

| 2. Savitribai Phule Scheme For Poor Girls - In this Scheme Rs 3/- per teacher per month is being |
| collected. The fixed deposit of Rs 5 lakh is being kept in Bank. The Municipal Corporation keeps |
| every Rs 5 lakh at Budget Provision for this scheme. The poor girls are provided the educational |
| equipments from this budget. |

| 3. School Maintenance And Clean School - To improve the educational quality and keep the school |
| very clean and attractive in all respect. There is a competition every year. The Prizes given to |
| three Schools. |

| Selection of Ideal Teachers |
| |
| On the occasion of Teachers Day (5th Sept.) Municipal Corporation selects 10 Ideal Teachers every year who performs excellent. They are awarded with Certificate, shawl and Rs 500/- net cash. |

| Scholership Examination |
| |
| Separate examination is conducted for students of class IV and VII. 100 students in merit of class VII are selected as Scholarship holders. They are given Rs 40/- Per month as a scholarship by Municipal Corporation. |

| Book Bank Scheme |
| |
| The Govt. of Maharashtra gives grant of Rs 6500/- for Book Bank. Municipal Corporation also give an amount of Rs. 5 lakhs. From this budget the text books are purchased and distributed to the students of all classes. |

| |
| The Science Seminar is arranged in every Corporation School to improve the study of Science. The experts in Science gives guidance to students. |
